🌞 Exciting News for Members 🌞
We’re excited to announce that AZRT is launching local chapters across Arizona!
With new regulations impacting short-term rentals, it’s more important than ever that hosts and supporters have a strong, organized voice. These local chapters will allow members and leaders to connect, collaborate, and respond to issues in their own communities while staying united under the statewide association.
By working together locally and statewide, we can better protect, support, and grow the STR industry in Arizona.
Proposed chapters are:
- Eastern Arizona (Payson, Show Low, Pinetop, Greer, etc.)
- Southern Arizona (Tucson, Sonoita, Douglas, Yuma, etc.)
- Northern Arizona (Flagstaff, Page, Grand Canyon, etc.)
- Phoenix Valley (Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale, Glendale, etc.)
- Western Arizona (Lake Havasu, Bullhead City, Kingman, etc.)
- Verde Valley (Cottonwood, Sedona, Prescott, etc.)
We’re looking for passionate leaders to help launch and guide our new local chapters!

Summer Series Session 3 Recap
At our final Summer Series session, James Whitley of DeGeorge Plumbing and HVAC shared practical tips to help save money on plumbing and air conditioning costs. Attendees walked away with useful ideas they could apply not only to their STRs but also to their own homes.
We also had a blast reviewing (and roasting!) some local Arizona Airbnb listings. The exercise turned out to be both fun and educational, giving everyone clear examples of what to do—and what not to do—when writing STR descriptions.
The session was such a hit that we’re already looking forward to hosting more in-person events and bringing back the Summer Series next year. Don’t forget—members get free access to many of these events!
